Company Description Antariksha Labs is an education-focused technology company that delivers practical, hands-on learning through advanced hardware modules and a versatile developer platform. The organization specializes in satellite-inspired and modular hardware solutions that bridge the gap between theory and real-world applications, ranging from educational model satellites to industrial-grade systems.
Antariksha
Labs collaborates with educators, industry partners, and learners to build a community where experimentation and innovation are encouraged. The platform also enables creators to commercialize their designs, offering a one-stop space to create, test, and sell hardware solutions. With strengths in modular hardware, collaborative research platforms, industry-grade testing, and data-driven solutions, Antariksha Labs supports projects that move from concept to deployment.
Role Description The Embedded Hardware Design Engineer — PCB, Analog & Sensor Systems will focus on designing, prototyping, and validating hardware modules for satellite-inspired and sensor-based applications. We build intelligent connected hardware across two domains: energy monitoring and metering devices that sense real electrical loads in homes and facilities, and modular space-technology hardware used in education and research. Both are physical products that have to work reliably outside a lab.
This is the hardware half of a two-person embedded team. You design the schematics, lay out the PCBs, select and qualify components, bring the boards up, and prove they work — and our embedded software developer writes firmware on top of what you deliver. When a sensor reads wrong, when a rail is noisy, when a board draws more current than the budget allows, it lands with you.
This is a hands-on hardware role. You will spend your time in the schematic editor, at the bench with a scope, and with a soldering iron in hand for prototyping, buying components from local shops and working with assembly houses for production. You will handle analog signal chains for electrical measurement, power supply design, RF layout, sensor interfacing, and thermal and mechanical constraints — and you will be responsible for a board that measures accurately, not just one that powers on.
You will work directly with our engineering leadership and with the firmware, mechanical, and product teams from schematic through to production. We are hiring at graduate level. Portfolio and hands-on project depth matter far more than years of experience — if you have designed, fabricated, and debugged your own boards,
we want to see them. Engagement at Rs. 10,000 per month during the probationary period, with an increase based on performance, and conversion to a full-time role with time.
What You'll Own

- RF and antenna layout: impedance control, placement, keep-outs
- EMI/EMC-aware design, thermal management, and design for manufacture
- Board bring-up, rail verification, bus validation, and systematic debugging
- Measurement accuracy validation against reference instruments; power profiling
- Component selection with attention to sourcing, cost, and availability
- Schematics, BOMs, assembly drawings, and revision control
- Board support documentation the firmware developer can work from directly
- Prototype procurement, vendor coordination, and production test fixtures
