Key Responsibilities

- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, cables, switches, sockets, lighting, and distribution boards.

- Perform regular preventive maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.

- Troubleshoot electrical faults, short circuits, power failures, and equipment-related electrical problems.

- Maintain and monitor generators, UPS systems, inverters, and emergency power systems.

- Check and maintain emergency lighting and power supply to critical hospital areas.

- Ensure reliable electrical supply to ICU, operation theatres, emergency departments, laboratories, wards, and other critical areas.

- Inspect electrical panels, breakers, relays, contactors, and protective devices.

- Carry out electrical testing, including earthing/grounding and insulation checks.

- Attend emergency electrical breakdowns and restore power safely and quickly.





- Assist with installation and electrical connections for medical and hospital equipment, as permitted by hospital procedures.

- Follow electrical safety standards, hospital safety procedures, and applicable regulations.

- Maintain records of maintenance work, breakdowns, inspections, and repairs.

- Coordinate with maintenance staff, biomedical engineers, contractors, and other hospital departments.

- Identify potential electrical hazards and take corrective action.

- Use appropriate PPE and electrical safety procedures, including isolation/lockout procedures where applicable.

- Support electrical work during hospital renovations, recent installations, and equipment upgrades.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
