Roles & Responsibilities

- Perform testing, commissioning and validation of LV electrical systems, PCC/MCC panels and control panels.

- Conduct FAT/SAT, functional testing, system integration, interlock & sequence testing.

- Perform protection and relay testing including Overcurrent, Earth Fault, Under/Over Voltage and motor protection.

- Test and troubleshoot ACB, MCCB, MCB, MPCB, Contactors, OLR, VFDs and Soft Starters.

- Validate Motor Management Systems, Smart Panels, Protection Systems and Power Monitoring Systems.

- Read and interpret SLD, GA drawings, wiring/control schematics and communication architecture.

- Use testing equipment such as Megger, Multimeter, Power Analyzer, Secondary Injection and Relay Test Kits.

- Troubleshoot electrical/control systems and perform Root Cause Analysis.

- Prepare test cases, validation plans, test reports and technical documentation.

- Coordinate with R&D;, Engineering, Quality and cross-functional teams for system validation.

- Support test-bench setup and test architecture and identify opportunities for test automation.

Preferred Candidate Profile





- BE/B.Tech in Electrical / Power Systems / Industrial Automation / Electronics & Instrumentation.

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Electrical Testing, Commissioning, Validation or Troubleshooting.

- Strong experience in LV Switchgear, MCC, PCC, LV Control Panels and Electrical Distribution Systems.

- Hands-on experience in Protection Testing, Relay Testing, FAT/SAT and System Integration Testing.

- Valuable knowledge of ACB, MCCB, MCB, MPCB, VFDs, Soft Starters, CTs/VTs and Protection Relays.

- Ability to interpret SLDs, wiring diagrams, control schematics and GA drawings.

- Experience with Omicron / ISA / Megger or equivalent relay-testing equipment is preferred.

- Knowledge of Modbus, Ethernet/IP, IEC 61850, Profinet will be an advantage.

- Exposure to PLC, SCADA, , EcoStruxure is preferred.

- Knowledge of Python / LabVIEW / MATLAB / Robot Framework for test automation is an added advantage.

- Strong troubleshooting, RCA, documentation and cross-functional collaboration skills.
