Position: Electrical Maintenance Technician

Experience: 4 to 6 Years

Department: Maintenance

Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of machinery, equipment, utilities, and plant facilities.
- Troubleshoot and repair, Electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic instrumentation issues.
- Perform routine inspection of machines and identify potential problems before breakdowns occur.
- Execute preventive maintenance schedules as per the maintenance plan.
- Attend machine breakdowns promptly and minimize equipment downtime.
- Maintain maintenance records, breakdown reports, inspection checklists, and spare-parts records.
- Ensure proper lubrication, alignment, tightening, cleaning, and replacement of machine components.
- Coordinate with production and other departments for maintenance activities and machine availability.
- Assist in installation, commissioning, modification, and relocation of machinery and equipment.
- Ensure availability and proper usage of critical maintenance spares and tools.




- Follow safety procedures, PPE requirements, LOTO practices, and company maintenance standards.
- Support root-cause analysis and corrective actions for repeated equipment failures.
- Maintain good housekeeping and ensure the maintenance area and equipment are kept in protected condition.
- Support contractors and external service technicians during maintenance and repair activities.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities to improve machine reliability, productivity, and energy efficiency.

Required Skills
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of industrial machinery and maintenance practices.
- Basic knowledge of electrical panels, motors, sensors, PLCs, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and basic electrical diagrams.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in shifts and respond to emergency breakdowns when required.
