Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering

Experience: 3–4+ Years(Same Plastic Masterbatch Industry Experience)

Salary: Up to ₹35,000 per month

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced STEER Extruder Maintenance Engineer to handle the maintenance, troubleshooting, and smooth operation of STEER extruder machines and associated equipment.

The candidate will be responsible for preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance to ensure maximum machine availability, smooth production, and minimum downtime.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of STEER extruder machines.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues related to extrusion equipment.
- Handle maintenance of extruders, gearboxes, motors, heaters, cooling systems, pumps, sensors, and associated equipment.
- Monitor machine performance and identify potential failures to prevent unexpected breakdowns.
- Maintain maintenance records, checklists, breakdown reports, and equipment history.
- Coordinate with the Production Department to minimize machine downtime.




- Ensure availability and proper maintenance of critical spare parts.
- Support machine installation, commissioning, modification, and improvement activities.
- Identify recurring breakdowns and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service engineers whenever specialized support is required.
- Follow all company safety procedures and ensure safe execution of maintenance activities.

Candidate Profile
- Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering from a recognized institute.
- Minimum 3–4 years of relevant industrial maintenance experience.
- Hands-on experience with STEER extruder machines is preferred.
- Valuable knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in plastic extrusion / polymer processing / compounding machinery will be an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with Production and Maintenance teams.

Salary: Up to ₹35,000 per month, depending on experience and suitability.
