Qualification: B.E./B.Tech Electrical, Instrumentation, Electronics or Automation Engineering.

Role Purpose

Lead electrical, instrumentation, automation and control engineering for ISP projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead electrical engineering and instrumentation design.
- Review electrical load lists, SLDs and power distribution systems.
- Review transformers, substations, MCCs, PCCs, VFDs and UPS systems.
- Review instrumentation index and control philosophies.
- Coordinate DCS, PLC, SCADA, ESD and automation systems.
- Review cable schedules, routing, earthing and lightning protection.
- Review vendor technical documentation.
- Coordinate FAT, SAT and commissioning.
- Manage interfaces with process, mechanical and civil disciplines.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety and statutory standards.

The ideal candidates should have:
- 15 - 25 years of total professional experience.
- Strong experience in steel, metals, heavy engineering, EPC or large industrial projects.
- Experience in greenfield/brownfield projects will be preferred.
- Demonstrated experience managing large multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong EPC contractor and technology supplier management experience.
- Experience in commissioning and plant ramp-up is highly desirable.
- Robust understanding of industrial HSE requirements.
- Willingness to work from Mumbai/Navi Mumbai and travel to project sites as required.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale projects within schedule, budget and quality requirements.
