Role & responsibilities

Lead and oversee all electrical operations, maintenance, statutory compliance, utilities, and electrical infrastructure projects across the plant. Ensure safe, reliable, and uninterrupted power availability while driving operational excellence, energy efficiency, and compliance with applicable regulations.

Preferred candidate profile

Electrical Operations & Maintenance

- Lead preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities for all electrical installations.
- Ensure maximum uptime of electrical systems including HT/LT panels, transformers, DG sets, UPS systems, and plant utilities.
- Monitor electrical performance and implement reliability improvement initiatives.

Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with all statutory and electrical safety regulations.
- Responsible for maintaining and renewing electrical licenses, permits, and statutory approvals.
- Conduct electrical safety audits, hazard identification, and risk assessments.




- Drive implementation of EHS standards and secure work practices.

Project Management
- Lead electrical infrastructure expansion, modification, and modernization projects.
- Manage vendor selection, contractor supervision, and project execution.
- Ensure projects are delivered within quality, cost, and timeline targets.

Energy Management
- Monitor power consumption and identify energy-saving opportunities.
- Drive initiatives related to power quality improvement, energy conservation, and cost optimization.
- Coordinate with electricity boards and external agencies for power-related matters.

Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor a team of electrical engineers, technicians, and contractors.
- Establish performance targets and drive capability development within the team.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
