Role Description This full-time Electrical and Instrumentation Technician role is an in office position located in Hyderabad. The technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical equipment and instrumentation used in production processes. Day-to-day tasks include performing routine inspections, calibrations, and testing of instruments, monitoring process parameters, and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently.

The role also involves diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical and control system issues, coordinating with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime, and documenting all maintenance activities. The technician will follow safety standards and company procedures, support continuous improvement initiatives, and assist in upgrades or modifications to electrical and control systems as needed.





Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust Motor Control skills, including installation, maintenance, and fault diagnosis of motors and associated control circuits.
- Candidates should possess Process Control and Instrumentation skills, with experience in configuring, operating, and maintaining sensors, transmitters, and control loops in an industrial environment.
- Candidates should possess Troubleshooting skills for electrical and instrumentation systems, including systematic fault finding and problem resolution in production equipment.
- Candidates should possess Calibration skills, with the ability to perform accurate calibration, verification, and adjustment of instruments according to standards and procedures.
- Relevant technical diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation engineering (or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- Experience in manufacturing or process industries, preferably in food and beverage or similar regulated environments.
- Working knowledge of safety regulations, lockout/tagout procedures, and basic electrical codes and standards.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs;, equipment manuals, and technical documentation.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on-site.
- Willingness to work in shifts if required and to respond to urgent maintenance needs to support continuous operations.
