PEB Civil Drafting Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled PEB Civil Drafting Engineer responsible for preparing accurate and detailed civil/structural drawings for Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) projects. The candidate will coordinate with structural, design, estimation, fabrication and project execution teams to ensure drawings are prepared as per project requirements, approved designs and applicable standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed PEB civil and structural drawings using AutoCAD and other relevant drafting software.
- Prepare GA (General Arrangement) drawings, foundation layouts, column layouts, anchor bolt plans and other required civil drawings.
- Prepare detailed drawings for:
- Foundation & footing & Pedestal
- Anchor bolt layout & Floor/Slab layout
- Civil & structural details
- Erection-related drawings
- Staircase, platform and miscellaneous steel/civil details
- Review architectural, structural and engineering drawings and incorporate design inputs into working drawings.
- Prepare drawings based on structural calculations, design specifications and project requirements.
- Ensure drawings are accurate, dimensionally correct and compliant with approved design.
- Coordinate with structural engineers regarding loads, reactions, column locations, anchor bolts and foundation requirements.
- Coordinate with site/project teams for resolving drawing-related technical queries.
- Revise drawings based on client/consultant comments and obtain necessary approvals.
- Maintain proper revision control and drawing records.




- Prepare shop drawings / working drawings / construction drawings as required.
- Assist in preparation of BOQ, quantity take-off and material-related information wherever required.
- Check drawings before submission to ensure there are no dimensional, detailing or coordination errors.
- Coordinate with fabrication and erection teams to understand practical requirements and incorporate necessary modifications.
- Support the engineering team in preparing as-built drawings and final documentation.
- Ensure timely completion and submission of drawings as per project schedule.
- Follow company drafting standards, project specifications and applicable IS codes/standards.

Required Technical Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
- Positive knowledge of PEB structures and civil foundation detailing.
- Understanding of:
- PEB building components
- Column & rafter arrangement
- Anchor bolts
- Base plates
- Foundation & pedestal details
- Bracing systems
- Cladding-related details
- Civil/structural coordination
- Ability to read and interpret structural, architectural and civil drawings.
- Knowledge of drawing standards, dimensions, sections, elevations and detailing.
- Knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel, will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of Auto Cad

Educational Qualification
- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Knowledge in AutoCAD / Civil Drafting / Structural Drafting

Experience : Fresher Also Welcome
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in PEB / Civil / Structural Drafting.
- Candidates with experience in PEB manufacturing, fabrication or construction companies will be preferred.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
