Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Assorter with hands-on expertise in diamond assortment, specifically 0.08 ct to 0.20 ct diamonds. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of diamond characteristics, excellent visual observation skills, and the ability to accurately sort and segregate diamonds as per defined quality parameters.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform accurate assortment of 0.08 ct to 0.20 ct diamonds based on size, shape, colour, clarity, and other relevant characteristics.
- Examine, sort, and segregate diamonds according to established quality and assortment parameters.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency throughout the assortment process.
- Identify and segregate diamonds as per specified requirements and standards.
- Handle diamonds carefully while maintaining proper security and accountability.
- Maintain accuracy in daily assortment activities and achieve defined productivity standards.
- Coordinate with relevant teams for smooth movement and processing of diamond parcels.
- Maintain proper records and documentation related to assortment activities.
- Adhere to laboratory processes, quality standards, security protocols, and confidentiality requirements.




- Support the team in maintaining high standards of quality and operational efficiency.

Candidate Profile

- Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in diamond assortment.
- Mandatory hands-on experience with 0.08 ct to 0.20 ct diamonds.
- Solid understanding of diamond characteristics and assortment parameters.
- Excellent visual observation and attention to detail.
- Ability to accurately identify and segregate diamonds based on specified criteria.
- Experience in a diamond manufacturing, trading, sorting, grading, or certification environment will be preferred.
- Good hand-eye coordination and ability to handle diamonds carefully.
- Strong focus on accuracy, quality, confidentiality, and productivity.
