Job PurposeAssisting head (Project Coordination. & Operation Assistance) to ensure HSM ongoing project is coordinated to eliminate the future bottlenecks for achieving target timeline and budget.

1. Accountabilities & Responsibilities

Accountabilities Activities: Configuring the right layout and TS1. Assist head in developing options to achieve smoother project coordination achieving the targets.2. Assist Head in monitoring, updating, comparing tender specifications for the purpose of finalizing technology supplier, detailed engineering consultant and construction partner. Selection of technology supplier3. Assist head in coordination and monitoring of the right vendor in consultation with technology groups JSL.4. Assist in reviewing the crystal-clear scope division between vendor and client ensuring no loose ends.Selection of detailed engineering consultant 1. Assist Head to review the right vendor capable of providing one stop solution to all engineering issues required to be addressed during the projectSelection of construction partner 1. Assist in reviewing the right construction partner(s) for civil, structural and equipment works considering overall timeline and budget.Planning & Execution 1. Assist in collating information required for project monitoring and control systems including cash flows for the assigned area.5. Coordination with Section in charges and section head to keep track of project.6. Assist in preparing the organization chart, track KPI’s, and project charterIdentification and on boarding of key project personnel 1. Assist in identifying competent people as per requirement.

Skills 1. Subject matter expert in the area of Hot Strip Mill.4. Should have hands on experience on Project monitoring especially in HSM.5. Excellent interpersonal skills to ensure smooth intra & inter departmental coordination F : Skills:Adequate knowledge & skill in Hot Strip Mill Mechanical Maintenance & project (Reheating Furnace, Roughing Mill ,Coil Box Finishing mill, Down Coiler etc) .Exposure to Hot Strip Mill Projects & Maintenance in large Set Up is a must. Strong communication, analytical & troubleshooting skills.
