Role & responsibilities
- Operate and monitor DG (Diesel Generator) sets safely.
- Check fuel, oil, coolant, battery, and other parameters.
- Start/stop DG as per requirement and load conditions.
- Monitor voltage, frequency, load, and engine performance.
- Carry out routine inspections and basic maintenance.
- Record DG running hours, fuel consumption, and readings.
- Identify faults and report breakdowns to the supervisor.
- Follow safety procedures and ensure proper housekeeping around the DG area.
