We are looking for an experienced Device42 Administrator to manage and maintain IT infrastructure discovery, CMDB, and IT Asset Management activities. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate infrastructure inventory, configuration data, asset information, and dependency mapping across the IT setting.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer and maintain the Device42 platform and associated CMDB.
- Perform infrastructure discovery and maintain accurate inventory of IT assets.
- Manage configuration items, relationships, and dependencies within the CMDB.
- Support IT Asset Management (ITAM) processes including asset discovery, classification, reconciliation, and lifecycle tracking.
- Configure and monitor Device42 discovery jobs and integrations.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of CMDB and infrastructure data.
- Perform discovery and dependency mapping across servers, applications, databases, and network devices.




- Identify and resolve data discrepancies and discovery-related issues.
- Coordinate with infrastructure, application, network, and database teams for CMDB updates.
- Support integration of Device42 with ITSM/CMDB platforms where required.
- Generate reports and provide infrastructure/asset data for audits and operational requirements.
- Follow established ITIL, configuration management, and data-quality processes.

Required Skills
- 5–15 years of experience in IT Infrastructure, CMDB, ITAM, or Configuration Management.
- Hands-on experience with Device42 administration.
- Strong understanding of CMDB concepts and Configuration Items (CIs).
- Experience with infrastructure discovery and dependency mapping.
- Good understanding of servers, networks, databases, and applications.
- Experience in IT Asset Management and infrastructure inventory.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Qualification Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
