Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana ( RKVY ) aims to improve the health, nutrition and livelihood status of small and marginal farming communities by ensuring availability and access to nutrient rich food in a farming system for nutrition model.

- Coordinate with line departments and other stakeholders.
- Coordinate & supervise day-to-day project activities ensuring timely implementation.
- Develop training modules and materials required for the project.
- Support establishment of both pond based and Agriculture based Farming System for Nutrition model, Nutri-Gardens, Poultry units.
- Conduct needs assessments, manage input distribution, and monitor field activities.
- Facilitate capacity-building programmes for staff, community cadres and farmers.
- Document best practices and prepare progress reports for donors and government.
- Ready to travel extensively in the project areas as per the need of the program.




- Any other assignment given by the Supervisor.

Qualification

- Master’s degree in Agriculture/Horticulture/ Life Science/ Fishery Science/ Nutrition & Public Health, from a recognized university.

Experience

- Knowledge of local agricultural practices and livelihoods
- Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in project implementation, preferably with government departments, NGOs.
- Prior involvement in capacity building, stakeholder engagement, and day to day monitoring of the project interventions.
- Knowledge of local language (e.g., Odia)
- Experience in activities such as Nutri-Gardens, vegetable promotions, backyard poultry, or biodiversity conservation etc..
