Job Summary

Aquarius is looking for an experienced Design Engineer to join the PIPL Design team at the Head Office in Pune.

The role will focus on the design, product improvement, and engineering support of Concrete Line Pumps, Boom Pumps, and related construction equipment. The position will also be responsible for resolving production and field issues, implementing design modifications, supporting cost optimisation, and maintaining engineering documentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, modify, and maintain 3D models, assemblies, and detailed 2D manufacturing drawings using Solid Edge and AutoCAD.
- Design sheet-metal components, structures, assemblies, and hydraulic piping/layouts.
- Analyse and resolve design-related production, quality, and field issues through root-cause analysis.
- Implement suitable engineering modifications to resolve technical issues.
- Independently execute product improvement and engineering change activities.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Service, Sourcing, and other functions for implementation and validation of design changes.
- Identify and implement VAVE and cost-reduction initiatives without compromising product performance, quality, or safety.
- Support current product development, prototype development, testing, and productionisation.
- Prepare and maintain drawings, BOMs, design calculations,



engineering change records, and other technical documentation.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable engineering standards, safety requirements, and manufacturing practices.
- Provide technical support to manufacturing locations, suppliers, and field/service teams.

Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 7 years of relevant design experience.
- Experience in construction equipment, heavy engineering, hydraulics, or mobile machinery will be preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Solid Edge and AutoCAD.
- Good knowledge of 3D modelling, drafting, GD&T;, fabrication, sheet-metal, and machining processes.
- Working understanding of hydraulic systems and piping layouts.
- Good knowledge of design-for-manufacturing and engineering change management.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Exposure to VAVE, product development, and field problem resolution will be preferred.

Work Location Based at PIPL Design, Head Office – Pune, with travel to the Goa Factory as required.

Compensation

Approximately ₹10 LPA

Pay: Up to ₹1,000,000.00 per year
