Position: Design Engineer Electrical Panels

Experience: 2 - 6 Years

Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop Electrical Control Panels, Power Panels, MCC, PCC, APFC, PLC and automation panels as per project requirements.
- Prepare electrical schematic diagrams, control circuit diagrams, GA drawings, wiring diagrams, and BOMs.
- Select appropriate electrical components such as MCBs, MCCBs, contactors, relays, VFDs, PLCs, SMPS, timers, meters, terminals, etc.
- Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM), component specifications, and panel layouts.
- Design panel layouts considering space, heat dissipation, cable routing, accessibility, and safety requirements.
- Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Sales, Quality, and Project teams for smooth execution of projects.
- Review customer specifications, technical drawings, and project requirements.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable electrical standards, safety requirements, and customer specifications.
- Provide technical support to the production team during panel assembly, wiring, testing, and troubleshooting.




- Review and modify drawings based on customer requirements and engineering changes.
- Coordinate with vendors for technical specifications and component selection.
- Participate in FAT, inspection, testing, and commissioning activities when required.
- Maintain proper documentation of drawings, BOMs, revisions, and technical records.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Electrical Panel Design and Control Circuits
- Hands-on experience with AutoCAD Electrical / EPLAN or similar design software
- Valuable knowledge of MCC, PCC, PLC, APFC and Control Panels
- Knowledge of electrical components and their applications
- Understanding of control wiring, power circuits, cable sizing, protection devices, and panel layouts
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and ERP systems
- Strong problem-solving and coordination skills

Preferred Industry Experience Candidates with experience in Electrical Panel Manufacturing, Industrial Automation, HVAC & Refrigeration, Industrial Controls, Switchgear, or Engineering Manufacturing will be preferred.
