Role Description The Design Engineer will work full time on-site in Ahmedabad, contributing to the design and development of overhead cranes and hoisting equipment.

Responsibilities include creating and updating engineering designs and 3D models, preparing detailed drawings and specifications, and ensuring compliance with safety and performance standards. The role involves collaborating with mechanical and electrical teams, supporting customization based on client requirements, and optimizing designs for manufacturability and cost efficiency.

The Design





Engineer will also assist in design validation, technical documentation, and coordination with production and quality teams to ensure smooth execution of projects.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering and Design Engineering for industrial machinery and material handling equipment.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 2D drafting and 3D modeling, and experience in product design and development.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Electrical Engineering related to crane and hoist systems is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related technical discipline.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, fabrication, and assembly for heavy engineering products.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, standards, and technical specifications.
- Valuable problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and capability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; familiarity with industry safety standards and regulations is beneficial.
