Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Design Engineer with expertise in Creo and AutoCAD to join our design team at our Moraiya (Ahmedabad) facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing industrial gearboxes, creating detailed 3D models, and generating production-ready manufacturing drawings.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop industrial gearboxes (Helical, Bevel, Worm, Spur) and power transmission components.
- Create accurate 3D models and complex assemblies using Creo.
- Generate detailed 2D manufacturing and shop-floor drawings using AutoCAD with GD&T; standard tolerances.
- Prepare comprehensive Bill of Materials (BOM) and technical documentation.




- Perform basic design calculations, including gear ratio, torque transmission, and shaft strength verification.
- Coordinate with the production and assembly teams to resolve design and shop-floor queries.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: 2 to 6 years in industrial gearbox or heavy equipment manufacturing.
- Software Proficiency:
- Creo (3D Modeling, Assembly, Detailing)
- AutoCAD (2D Layouts, Drafting)
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of gear design, bearing selection, shaft calculations, and power transmission principles.
- Practical understanding of GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and machining processes.
