Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Deputy Manager – Loan / Lease Origination Operations to manage day-to-day loan/lease origination and contract activation activities while leading a team of 6–10 members. The role will focus on timely and accurate transaction processing, SLA adherence, quality, productivity, compliance, and stakeholder satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day loan/lease origination and contract activation operations.
- Lead and manage a team of 6–10 members, including workload allocation, performance monitoring, coaching, and development.
- Monitor operational queues, pending transactions, backlogs, escalations, and TAT/SLA adherence.
- Review complex transactions and resolve operational issues in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate with Sales, Credit, Risk, Legal, Finance, IT, and global/onshore teams.
- Drive First Time Right (FTR) by minimizing errors, rework, documentation gaps, and process deviations.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, operational controls, compliance, documentation, and audit requirements.
- Prepare and review operational reports covering productivity, quality, volumes, SLA, backlog, and escalations.
- Identify process gaps and support process improvement, automation, and transformation initiatives.

Required Skills





- Strong experience in loan/lending operations, leasing operations, loan origination, contract activation, or commercial finance operations.
- Strong people management and team leadership skills.
- Good understanding of SLA, TAT, productivity, quality, and FTR metrics.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong attention to detail, ownership, and compliance mindset.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of Power BI, workflow tools, or CRM systems will be an advantage.

Qualification & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Operations, or a related field.
- 9–14 years of relevant experience in lending, leasing, loan origination, contract activation, commercial finance, or shared services operations.
- Experience managing a team of 6–10 members.
- Experience working with cross-functional and global/onshore stakeholders is preferred.
