Maruti Suzuki India

Limited, BU Hansalpur plant is a subsidiary of Maruti Suzuki India Limited to produce automobiles from Gujarat, was established in March 2014, aiming to secure production ability in preparation for the automobile market growth in India, as well as for expansion of exports from India. In MSIL – BU Hansalpur, Plant A started operating from February 2017, subsequently Plant B, Powertrain Plant started in January 2019. In October 2020, MSIL-BU Hansalpur became the fastest production site of Maruti Suzuki to achieve accumulated automobile production of 1 million units. MSIL – Hansalpur is also home of Maruti Suzuki’s prestigious e-Vitara, the first EV of Maruti Suzuki in world. The plant proudly exported the e-Vitara to more than 165 countries so far. Today, Maruti Suzuki has its eyes set firmly on the possibilities of tomorrow.

About the Role

MSIL Hansalpur plant is inviting applications for their Civil department. Candidates from “Civil Engineering” from reputed Engineering College with 8 to 12 years of relevant experience and have expertise in handling Service & Maintenance of big Plants can apply.

Responsibilities

- Analyze long range plans, survey reports, maps, and other data to plan and design projects.
- Manage the repair, maintenance,



and replacement of company infrastructure.
- Consider construction costs, government regulations, potential environmental hazards, and other factors during the planning and risk-analysis stages of a project.
- Oversee and analyze the results of soil testing to determine the adequacy and strength of foundations.
- Analyze the results of tests on building materials, such as concrete, wood, asphalt, or steel, for use in particular projects.
- Prepare cost estimates for materials, equipment, or labor to determine a project's economic feasibility.
- Use design software to plan and design transportation systems, hydraulic systems, and structures in line with industry and government standards.
- Perform or oversee surveying operations to establish building locations, site layouts, reference points, grades, and elevations to guide construction.
- Able to understand and effectively operate SAP, CARRAR, and other platforms to ensure a smooth workflow process.
- Responsible for managing multiple tasks simultaneously while effectively supervising and coordinating manpower to ensure smooth operations, optimal resource utilization, and timely achievement of organizational goals.
- Encourage and inspire junior staff, build a positive work culture, and strengthen collaboration to achieve collective goals.

Qualification and Desired Technical Knowledge

- Civil Engineer from reputed Engineering college
- Having knowledge of Autocad 2D
- Microsoft Project, Microsoft excel, Power point Presentation.
- Civil drawing/design understanding for able to read and review
