Role Description The Deep Learning Engineer will design, develop, and deploy machine learning and deep learning models to enhance live commentary, match predictions, content recommendations, and user engagement features on Criclive.in. Day-to-day responsibilities include collecting and preprocessing data, building and training neural networks, evaluating model performance, and iterating on solutions based on real-world feedback.

The role will also involve collaborating with product, content, and engineering teams to integrate models into production systems, optimize model latency for live environments, and maintain scalable ML pipelines. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Janakpuri,



requiring regular collaboration with cross-functional team members.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in machine learning and deep learning, including experience with neural networks, CNNs, RNNs/LSTMs, and up-to-date architectures such as transformers.
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in ML, such as Python, and familiarity with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
- Experience with data collection, preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation using techniques such as cross-validation and performance metrics.
- Ability to build and deploy production-ready models, including experience with APIs, model serving, versioning, and basic DevOps or MLOps practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate product requirements into technical solutions focused on personalization, prediction, or automation.
- Comfort working with large datasets and knowledge of SQL or NoSQL databases; familiarity with data pipelines and cloud platforms is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; interest in cricket and sports analytics is highly beneficial.
