Dean – Physical Education

- Provide strategic leadership and overall direction for the Department of Physical Education and Sports.
- Develop and implement academic, sports, fitness, and wellness programmes for students.
- Plan and coordinate inter-collegiate, university, state, national, and international sports activities.
- Identify, mentor, and develop talented athletes and improve student participation and sports performance.
- Supervise Physical Education faculty, coaches, trainers, and support staff and monitor their performance.
- Manage and develop sports infrastructure, playgrounds, gymnasium, fitness centres, and sports equipment.
- Prepare and manage the annual sports budget and ensure effective utilisation of resources.
- Promote research, publications, seminars, conferences, and collaborations in Physical Education and Sports Sciences.
- Establish partnerships with universities, sports federations, academies, qualified coaches, and other sports organisations.
- Maintain sports records and reports and ensure compliance with university, regulatory, accreditation, and institutional requirements.
