At present, GSN is hiring DATASTAGE ADMIN for one of our client.

- EXPERIENCE: 4- 8 Yrs
- CTC Range: 15-25 LPA

Mandatory Skills:

- Robust experience with IBM InfoSphere DataStage / IBM Information Server administration.
- Good knowledge of DataStage architecture and services.
- Experience with Unix/Linux administration and shell scripting.
- Knowledge of Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, or other relational databases.
- Experience with job scheduling and enterprise scheduling tools.
- Knowledge of DataStage project configuration, security, logs, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with production support and incident/problem management.
- Understanding of ETL concepts and DataStage parallel processing.
- Install, configure, administer, and maintain IBM Infosphere DataStage environments.
- Manage DataStage projects, jobs, users, roles, permissions, and security.
- Monitor DataStage jobs, schedules,



services, and overall ETL environment health.
- Troubleshoot job failures, performance issues, connectivity problems, and production incidents.
- Manage DataStage services such as Engine, ASB, Metadata Repository, and Information Server components.
- Perform deployment and migration of DataStage jobs between Development, QA, UAT, and Production environments.
- Configure and maintain database, file-system, and other ETL connections.
- Monitor system resources such as CPU, memory, disk space, and DataStage logs.
- Perform backup, recovery, housekeeping, and environment maintenance activities.
- Support DataStage upgrades, patches, fixes, and version migrations.
- Work with Unix/Linux administrators, database teams, application teams, and ETL developers to resolve issues.
- Analyze and optimize DataStage performance, including job execution, parallel processing, memory, and resource utilization.
- Automate administrative and monitoring activities using Unix/Linux shell scripting.
