About this Role

We are seeking a Data Warehouse & Information Architecture Specialist to translate business requirements into effective solution designs that form the foundation for data warehouse development and analytics solutions. This role is based in Pune and sits within the D&A; function. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing robust data models, defining data transformation and aggregation processes, supporting ETL development activities, and collaborating with business and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable data warehouse solutions.

This is an individual contributor role with a strong focus on data architecture, solution design, and technical leadership.

What you will do

- Translate business requirements into scalable and effective data warehouse solution designs.
- Create and maintain logical and dimensional data models aligned to business requirements.
- Define, identify, and document data transformation, aggregation, and integration procedures.
- Design robust dimensional models capable of supporting diverse data sources and reporting requirements.
- Review solution designs produced by colleagues and provide design guidance throughout the development lifecycle.
- Support and advise development teams on implementation approaches and technical challenges.




- Perform detailed data analysis and interpretation to support business decision-making.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to ensure successful delivery outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvements in solution design, data architecture, and delivery practices.
- Contribute to the successful delivery of assigned projects and initiatives while maintaining quality standards.

Who you are Essential Skills & Experience

- Strong technical expertise in Data Warehousing concepts and practices.
- Proven experience in dimensional modelling and data warehouse design.
- Hands-on experience in ETL design and development using tools such as DataStage, Informatica, or similar ETL platforms.
- Advanced SQL expertise with the ability to create complex transformations and perform detailed data analysis.
- Experience working with Teradata and Wherescape environments.
- Strong understanding of data modelling principles and techniques within a Business Intelligence context.
- Experience using data modelling tools and methodologies.
- Practical experience loading and maintaining Fact and Dimension tables within production environments.
- Ability to design scalable and maintainable data solutions.
- Experience engaging with both business and technical stakeholder groups.
