Position : Data modeler

The Data Modeler will be responsible for designing and enhancing enterprise data models that support DBU UDM (Unified Data Model) reporting, analytics, and data products.

The role will work closely with functional stakeholders, Business Analysts, and Data Engineers to translate business requirements into scalable, high-quality data models.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze Finance business requirements and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models.

Design Master, Transactions, fact ,dimension and Data products related models for Finance domains such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cost Accounting, and Budgeting.

Perform source system analysis and develop source-to-target mappings for ERP systems such as SAP, Movex (IBM AS400), BMS (Oracle Custon ERP)..

Define data quality rules, business definitions, and metadata standards.





Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure accurate implementation of data models and transformation logic.

Maintain data dictionaries, data lineage documentation, and design artifacts.

Participate in design reviews and ensure adherence to enterprise data architecture and governance standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

Robust experience in 3NF modeling, dimensional modeling, and data warehousing concepts.

Good understanding of Finance processes, including Chart of Accounts, Cost Centers, Profit Centers, Financial Statements, Budget vs. Actuals, and accounting principles.

Hands-on experience with tools and platforms such as ERWin, ER/Studio, SQL, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, SAP, or Oracle Finance applications.
