CyTech Consulting is an emerging cybersecurity and technology consulting firm focused on helping businesses strengthen their cybersecurity, information security, data protection, risk management, and compliance.

We are looking for a motivated Cybersecurity & Information Security Consultant who wants to build a career in cybersecurity while working closely with an early-stage startup and contributing to the development of our cybersecurity consulting practice.

The candidate will support cybersecurity and information-security consulting engagements for clients across areas including:

- Cybersecurity assessments
- ISO 27001 / ISMS implementation
- Risk assessments
- Security controls
- Data security and protection
- Regulatory and compliance requirements
- Security awareness

This is primarily a cybersecurity consulting and technical security role, with opportunities to take on greater responsibility as CyTech Consulting grows.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct cybersecurity and information-security assessments.
- Identify cybersecurity risks, vulnerabilities, and control gaps.
- Support ISO 27001 / ISMS implementation and compliance projects.
- Perform risk assessments and prepare risk treatment plans.
- Review security policies, procedures, access controls, backups, endpoint security, and network-security practices.
- Assist with vulnerability assessment and security testing activities.




- Develop cybersecurity policies, SOPs, checklists, and assessment reports.
- Support incident-response and business-continuity planning.
- Prepare client reports with practical remediation recommendations.
- Conduct cybersecurity awareness and training sessions.
- Assist with security audits and certification-readiness activities.
- Stay updated on emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and security best practices.

Preferred Skills
- Basic to positive understanding of Cybersecurity and Information Security.
- Knowledge of ISO 27001 / ISMS.
- Understanding of networking, operating systems, security controls, and common cyber threats.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST and CIS Controls is an advantage.
- Knowledge of vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, SOC, SIEM, or incident response is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good documentation and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn cybersecurity tools and technologies.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Networking, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as ISO 27001, Security , CEH, CCNA, or equivalent are an advantage.




- Freshers with solid cybersecurity knowledge and practical projects are encouraged to apply.

Startup Opportunity

CyTech Consulting is at an early stage, so this role offers more than a conventional consulting position.

The selected candidate will have the opportunity to:

- Help build CyTech's Cybersecurity Consulting Practice.
- Contribute to cybersecurity service development and methodologies.
- Work directly on client-facing security projects.
- Take ownership of cybersecurity initiatives.
- Grow into a Cybersecurity Practice Lead / Core Team position.
- Potentially take on a founding-team or leadership role based on performance, contribution, and mutual interest.

This is a cybersecurity-first role. The startup/founding opportunity is an additional growth path and does not require prior startup experience.
