Role Description The Customer Sales Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Bhopal Area. This role involves engaging with prospective and existing customers, including educators, researchers, and institutional clients, to understand their publishing needs and recommend suitable products and services. The representative will handle inbound and outbound inquiries, conduct product demonstrations, follow up on leads, and manage the end-to-end sales cycle from initial contact to closing and post-sale support.

Daily responsibilities include maintaining accurate records in the CRM, preparing quotations, coordinating with internal teams on order fulfillment, and ensuring a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills,



with the ability to understand and address the needs of educators, researchers, and institutional clients.
- Sales and negotiation skills, including prospecting, lead follow-up, closing deals, and achieving or exceeding assigned targets.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi; ability to explain products and services in a professional and accessible manner.
- Basic familiarity with academic publishing, books, or education-sector products; prior experience in sales or customer-facing roles is an advantage.
- Comfort with using CRM or sales tracking tools, email, and common office software (e.g., spreadsheets, presentations) to manage daily activities.
- Robust organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and the capacity to handle multiple inquiries and tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work on-site in the Greater Bhopal Area and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including editorial and operations.
