Bluemoon Finances is looking for an experienced Credit Analyst / Senior Parabroker with strong Australian mortgage-broking experience to join our growing team.
This is not an entry-level processing or general administration role . We are looking for someone who understands Australian lender policies, can analyse complex scenarios, and can independently determine the right lender and loan structure.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess residential mortgage scenarios from initial fact find through to approval and settlement.
- Analyse client income, liabilities, assets, living expenses and supporting documentation.
- Complete borrowing capacity and servicing assessments using lender calculators and Quickli.
- Research and interpret current lender credit policies and determine suitable lender options.
- Assess and structure applications for:
- PAYG applicants
- Self-employed applicants
- Company structures
- Trust structures
- Investors
- Refinances
- Construction loans
- Complex income scenarios
- Review payslips, tax returns, NOAs, financial statements, BAS and other supporting documents.
- Prepare applications and supporting documentation for submission.
- Have strong hands-on experience with ApplyOnline (AOL) .
- Review applications before submission to identify potential policy issues and minimise MIRs.
- Liaise with brokers, BDMs and lender credit teams when required.
- Manage applications through approval and settlement.
- Keep CRM and application records accurate and up to date.
- Provide clear credit recommendations and explain potential issues before lodgement.
- Speak directly with clients by phone to clarify information, explain requirements and provide updates throughout the application process.
- Essential ExperienceThe successful candidate must have previous Australian mortgage-broking experience .
We are looking for
- Minimum 3 years' Australian mortgage broking / credit assessment experience .
- Strong understanding of Australian bank and non-bank lender policies.
- Hands-on ApplyOnline (AOL) experience.
- Strong servicing and borrowing-capacity knowledge.
- Proven experience assessing PAYG and self-employed borrowers .
- Experience with company and trust structures .
- Ability to read and understand tax returns, financial statements and NOAs.
- Strong understanding of lender income shading, add-backs, rental income, liabilities and living expenses.
- Experience dealing with BDMs and lender credit assessors.
- Ability to work independently and make sound lender recommendations.
- Excellent telephone communication skills and confidence speaking directly with clients.
- Professional, friendly and confident phone manner.
- Ability to explain lending requirements and credit-related questions to clients in a easy and easy-to-understand way.

What We Are Looking For
We need someone who can look at a scenario and say:
“This is the client's situation, these are the policy issues, these are the lenders that will work, and this is how I would structure the deal.”
You should be confident working with complex scenarios rather than simply following instructions.
You must also be comfortable picking up the phone and speaking with clients . This role involves client interaction, so strong communication skills are just as important as technical credit knowledge.
Strong attention to detail, good written English, problem-solving ability and the confidence to communicate with brokers, clients and lenders are essential.
- Australian mortgage-broking experience is mandatory.
