Job Title: Azure Infrastructure Support Analyst

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Azure Infrastructure Support Analyst to support, maintain, and enhance cloud-hosted applications and infrastructure within Microsoft Azure environments. The ideal candidate will have experience in cloud infrastructure management, automation, application support, system administration, security compliance, and database administration. This role requires solid troubleshooting skills, proactive monitoring capabilities, and a continuous improvement mindset to ensure high availability and reliability of business-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities

Azure Infrastructure & Cloud Support

Manage, monitor, and support Azure IaaS and PaaS services.

Provision, configure, and maintain Azure resources, including Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, App Services, Networking, and Security Services.

Monitor infrastructure health and performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues.

Support cloud migrations, upgrades, and environment optimization initiatives.

Infrastructure Automation

Develop, edit, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.

Manage source code repositories and deployment workflows using GitHub.

Create and maintain Ansible playbooks for automated software installation, configuration management, patching, and environment provisioning.

Continuously improve automation processes to reduce manual effort and operational risks.

Application Support

Deploy, configure, maintain,



and troubleshoot ROMeo application components and supporting software across Azure-hosted environments.

Provide L2/L3 application support and incident resolution for production and non-production environments.

Perform application deployments, upgrades, configuration changes, and release support activities.

Collaborate with development teams to resolve application and infrastructure-related issues.

Windows Administration & Security

Administer Windows Server environments, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Perform operating system patching, vulnerability remediation, and security hardening activities.

Support identity and access management, security compliance, and infrastructure governance requirements.

Ensure adherence to organizational security standards and best practices.

Database Administration

Manage Microsoft SQL Server environments, including installation, configuration, backup, recovery, and maintenance activities.

Perform database health checks, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting.

Execute and validate database backup and restoration processes.

Support database upgrades, patching, and security-related activities.

Incident, Problem & Change Management

Analyze and resolve infrastructure, application, and database incidents within defined SLAs.

Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive actions.

Participate in change management activities including deployment planning, validation, and post-implementation support.

Maintain operational documentation, support procedures, and knowledge repositories.





Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Skills

Strong experience with Microsoft Azure (IaaS & PaaS Services).

Hands-on experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Experience with GitHub for source control and collaboration.

Proficiency in Ansible for automation and configuration management.

Knowledge of Application Support, deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.

Strong Windows Server Administration skills.

Good understanding of Infrastructure Security, vulnerability management, and patching.

Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Administration (DBA activities).

Knowledge of backup, recovery, database performance monitoring, and maintenance.

Familiarity with monitoring and troubleshooting cloud-based environments.

Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305, or equivalent.

Experience supporting enterprise applications in cloud environments.

Understanding of DevOps methodologies and CI/CD practices.
