Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Constraint & Delivery Manager to join our Supply Chain organization, specializing in supply constraint management, supplier delivery performance, and production continuity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for proactively identifying and resolving supply constraints, managing supplier delivery commitments, mitigating line-down risks, driving root cause analysis and corrective actions, optimizing inventory health, and ensuring uninterrupted material flow to support manufacturing operations. This role requires strong supply chain and procurement expertise, advanced problem-solving capabilities, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to lead critical recovery actions to achieve best-in-class delivery performance and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

- Own and maintain the plant supply constraint register and drive timely resolution of all critical supply issues.

- Monitor material availability and proactively identify risks that could impact production schedules.

- Manage supplier delivery performance, monitor overdue deliveries, and ensure timely recovery plans.

- Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for supplier delivery failures and recurring supply issues.

- Lead expediting activities for critical materials and coordinate recovery actions to avoid production disruptions.

- Collaborate closely with Production Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics, Sourcing, and Category Management teams to ensure alignment on supply commitments.

- Track and mitigate line-down risks through effective communication, escalation, and contingency planning.

- Monitor inventory health and highlight material shortages, excess inventory, and slow-moving stock risks.

- Manage past-due purchase order backlog and improve supplier adherence to delivery commitments.

- Provide visibility of constraints, risks,



and recovery actions through regular reviews and management reporting.

- Support new product introductions, project ramp-ups, and business-critical supply requirements.

- Escalate strategic supplier performance concerns to Category Managers and Procurement leadership for commercial intervention when required.

- Continuously drive process improvements to enhance supply assurance, delivery reliability, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing, or related discipline.

- MBA / PGDM in Supply Chain, Operations, Procurement, or Business Management preferred.

- 8-15 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Materials Management, Supplier Performance Management, etc.

- Experience in industrial manufacturing, electrical equipment, engineering, automotive, industrial products, data center infrastructure, or related sectors preferred.

- Extensive travel (50-75%) to manufacturing plants, supplier facilities, and distribution centers.

- Frequent shop-floor engagement to resolve supply constraints, mitigate production risks, and support business continuity.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace, manage urgent supply disruptions, and coordinate cross-functional recovery actions.

- Work across office, manufacturing plant, warehouse, and supplier environments.

- Extensive domestic travel to support supplier performance and business continuity.

Primary Skills:

- Core direct procurement

- His entire suppliers are in Nashik (Dealt and will be dealing with suppliers

- This is 50% traveling job and mainly he has to travel to nashik (but need to travel all over maharashtra)

- Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA)

- Constraint Management, Production Planning, Material Planning and Inventory Optimization

- He will not do negotiation , that work is with commodity manager
