About Us

PLASTALLS is a precision manufacturer of Bakelite, SMC, and DMC molded components for electrical and electronic applications, serving both domestic and export (US) markets. We're looking to strengthen our production floor with a skilled injection/compression molding operator.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Injection/Compression Molding Operator to handle DMC/SMC part production on our injection molding & compression molding machines. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with thermoset molding processes and a solid understanding of material handling, mold setup, and process parameters.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate injection/compression molding machines for DMC/SMC components as per production schedule
- Handle charge preparation and placement (DMC bulk material/SMC sheet) into mold cavities
- Set and monitor process parameters — mold temperature, pressure, and cure time — for consistent part quality




- Perform mould loading/unloading and basic mould maintenance/cleaning
- Inspect moulded parts for visual and dimensional defects (flash, voids, blisters, short shots)
- Coordinate with the QC team on rejection analysis and corrective actions
- Maintain production logs and report machine/process issues promptly
- Follow safety protocols while handling hot molds and press machinery

Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in injection/compression molding, preferably with DMC/SMC or other thermoset materials
- Working knowledge of press operations, mold setup, and curing cycles
- Ability to read basic process sheets/work instructions
- Attention to detail for identifying molding defects
- ITI/Diploma in relevant trade preferred, but relevant shop-floor experience will be given priority
- Willingness to work in shifts as per production needs
