Flings is a new contemporary bar, gelato and food concept in Mumbai, currently building its opening kitchen team.

The Role

We are looking for a strong Commis 1 / Junior CDP with solid Western/Continental kitchen experience to take ownership of a section and work closely with the senior kitchen team.

Responsibilities

- Handle mise en place and service for an assigned section
- Execute Western/Continental dishes consistently
- Good understanding of sauces, stocks, vegetables and protein cookery
- Maintain speed, cleanliness and organisation during service
- Follow recipes, portioning and plating standards
- Assist with menu trials and R&D;




- Support and guide junior team members

Requirements
- 2–4+ years of professional kitchen experience
- Western/Continental experience preferred
- Solid knife skills and cooking fundamentals
- Good understanding of professional kitchen operations
- Clean, organised and disciplined
- Able to work under pressure
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
