About the Role

ARNI Constructions is looking for a responsible and hands-on Civil Site Engineer to supervise residential construction and renovation projects. The engineer will be responsible for managing day-to-day site activities, coordinating labour and contractors, ensuring quality workmanship, and providing accurate daily progress updates.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and monitor day-to-day construction activities at the site.
- Manage and coordinate site labour, masons, helpers, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Maintain a daily labour attendance and manpower report.
- Prepare and share daily site activity/progress updates with management.
- Track the progress of activities against the planned construction schedule.
- Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and construction standards.
- Monitor activities such as excavation, foundation, RCC, brickwork, plastering, waterproofing, flooring, electrical, plumbing, painting, and finishing.
- Check the quality of materials and workmanship at every stage.
- Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, contractors, and vendors whenever required.
- Identify site issues, delays, material requirements, and manpower shortages and report them immediately.
- Ensure required materials are available at the site before starting activities.
- Take daily site photographs/videos and maintain proper progress records.
- Verify measurements and quantities of completed work.
- Monitor wastage of construction materials and ensure proper utilisation.
- Ensure the site is maintained in a secure, clean, and organised manner.
- Follow up with contractors and labour teams to ensure timely completion of assigned activities.
- Maintain daily records of work completed, labour deployed,



materials received, and pending activities.
- Prepare weekly progress reports for management.

Daily Site Update – Mandatory The Civil Site Engineer must provide a daily update covering: 1. Labour Report

- Total labour present
- Mason count
- Helper count
- Carpenter/Bar-bender count
- Electrical/Plumbing/other workers

2. Activities Completed

- Work completed during the day
- Quantity/progress achieved
- Area/location of work

3. Ongoing Activities

- Current work in progress
- Manpower assigned

4. Material Update

- Materials received
- Materials consumed
- Materials required

5. Issues / Delays

- Site issues
- Labour shortage
- Material shortage
- Drawing/technical issues
- Any activity causing delay

6. Next-Day Plan

- Activities planned for the following day
- Labour required
- Materials required

7. Site Photos

- Before/after progress photographs
- Key construction activities
- Any issues requiring management attention

Candidate Requirements
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- 2–5 years of relevant site experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of residential construction and finishing works.
- Good understanding of drawings, measurements, BOQ and construction materials.
- Ability to independently manage labour and subcontractors.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Must be comfortable working on-site and providing daily progress reports.
- Basic knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets and WhatsApp reporting is preferred.
- Must be responsible, punctual, detail-oriented, and quality-conscious.
