Civil Engineer – Solar Project

Location: Project Site

Industry: Solar EPC / Renewable Energy

Experience: 2–5 Years

Key Responsibilities

- Assist senior engineers in civil designs and layouts for solar project foundations, module mounting structures, inverter rooms, control buildings, internal roads, cable trenches, and other civil works.
- Supervise and monitor day-to-day civil construction activities, coordinating with contractors and site teams to ensure timely execution as per drawings, specifications, quality, and safety standards.
- Conduct site inspections, support surveying, leveling, and layout marking, and identify site or construction-related issues for timely resolution.
- Monitor construction materials, manpower, and resources, ensuring proper utilization, availability, and site housekeeping.
- Maintain daily progress reports, drawings, test reports, inspection records, and other project documentation, and provide regular updates to senior engineers and project managers.
- Conduct quality checks and coordinate material testing for concrete, soil, reinforcement steel, and other civil materials.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for timely procurement and delivery of required materials.
- Ensure compliance with Health,



Safety and Environment requirements and approved construction procedures at the project site.
- Assist in quantity estimation, material planning, cost tracking, and monitoring project progress against planned targets.
- Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, quality, and other project teams to ensure smooth execution of overall solar project activities.

Qualifications
- B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
- 2–5 years of experience, preferably in Solar EPC or large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Basic knowledge of civil construction, foundations, surveying, material testing, and site execution.
- Knowledge of solar project civil works such as module mounting structure foundations, cable trenches, internal roads, drainage, and equipment foundations.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel to project sites and work in field environments.

Job Types: Full time, Permanent Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
