Role Description The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is a full time, on-site leadership role based in Pune City, responsible for overseeing all strategic and operational activities of Antyoday Multistate Co-operative Credit Society Ltd. The CEO will lead the development and execution of business plans, manage financial performance, and ensure robust governance and regulatory adherence across the Society’s operations.
Daily responsibilities include directing branch and back-office functions, monitoring credit and deposit portfolios, guiding sales and member acquisition efforts, and optimizing processes for efficiency and risk management. The CEO will collaborate with the Board of Directors, set organizational goals,
manage senior leadership, and foster a culture of ethical conduct, member service excellence, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Finance, including financial analysis, budgeting, and management of credit portfolios.
- Proficiency in Operations Management, with experience in process optimization, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrated ability in Business Planning and Strategic Planning, including setting long-term goals and executing growth strategies.
- Experience in Sales, member acquisition, and business development within financial services or cooperative banking.
- Advanced leadership skills, including team management, stakeholder engagement, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with the Board, regulators, staff, and members.
- Relevant academic background such as a degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; a postgraduate or professional qualification (e.g., MBA, CA, CFA) is an advantage.
- Prior executive or senior management experience in a cooperative, NBFC, credit society, or banking/financial institution is highly beneficial.
