Role:Chief Architect

Job Summary

Ernst & Young is seeking an experienced Chief Architect to lead enterprise-wide technology strategy, architecture transformation, digital innovation, cloud modernization, AI adoption, and engineering excellence initiatives. The ideal candidate will define target-state architecture, establish governance frameworks, guide large transformation programs, and work closely with business and technology stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and future-ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Architecture Leadership

- Define and drive enterprise architecture vision, roadmap, and standards.
- Create reference architectures, technology blueprints, and governance models.
- Ensure alignment of business strategy with technology investments.
- Lead architecture reviews and provide technical direction across programs.

Digital Transformation & Innovation
- Drive cloud-first, API-first, and AI-first transformation initiatives.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and define adoption strategies.
- Lead modernization of legacy platforms and enterprise applications.
- Enable digital products, intelligent automation, and data-driven solutions.

Cloud & Platform Architecture
- Architect enterprise solutions across Azure, AWS, and GCP.
- Define scalable, resilient, and secure cloud operating models.
- Guide migration, containerization, and microservices adoption.
- Design high-availability and disaster recovery strategies.

Data, AI & Analytics




- Define enterprise data architecture and governance frameworks.
- Drive adoption of AI/ML, Generative AI, and advanced analytics solutions.
- Establish responsible AI standards and compliance controls.
- Enable data platforms, data lakes, and up-to-date analytics ecosystems.

Security & Governance
- Ensure security-by-design principles across platforms and applications.
- Establish architecture governance processes and compliance standards.
- Define risk management, privacy, and regulatory controls.
- Collaborate with security teams on enterprise security architecture.

Stakeholder Management
- Partner with C-level executives, business leaders, and technology teams.
- Influence strategic technology decisions and investment priorities.
- Present architecture recommendations to leadership forums.
- Mentor senior architects and engineering leaders.
