Core Responsibilities

- Process Transactions: Scan barcodes, weigh produce on digital scales, and enter item codes using the Point-of-Sale (POS) system.

- Handle Payments: Collect cash, process debit/credit cards, mobile wallets, and vouchers, and give accurate change.

- Manage the Till: Count and balance the cash drawer at the start and end of each shift, and generate daily sales reports.

- Customer Service: Greet shoppers warmly, answer product location questions, handle price checks, and explain store promotions.

- Returns & Exchanges: Process merchandise returns, gift cards, and exchanges according to hypermarket policies.

- Bagging & Packing: Pack goods carefully into bags or boxes, ensuring fragile or heavy items are separated safely.

- Store Support:



Keep the checkout lane clean, stock impulse-buy items near the counter, or assist with floor recovery during quiet periods. Key Requirements & Skills

- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

- Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with POS touchscreens, barcode scanners, and card machines.

- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long shifts, bend, and lift moderate weights.

- Interpersonal Skills: Patience, polite communication, and honesty in a rapid-paced setting.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
