Key Responsibilities

- Transcribe and type cardiology consultation notes and medical reports.

- Prepare and format ECG, Echo/2D Echo, TMT, Holter, Doppler, angiography and other cardiac investigation reports.

- Type doctors' dictations and clinical correspondence accurately.

- Proofread reports for spelling, grammar, medical terminology, and formatting.

- Verify patient details and flag unclear or incomplete information for clarification.

- Maintain electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) and patient documentation.

- Ensure confidentiality and secure handling of patient information.

- Complete reports within required turnaround times.

- Coordinate with cardiologists, technicians, nurses, and medical-record staff when necessary.

- Perform other administrative/typing duties assigned by the cardiology department.





Required Skills

- Good knowledge of medical terminology and cardiology terminology.

- Fast and accurate English typing.

- Excellent listening and comprehension skills.

- Positive English grammar, spelling, and proofreading ability.

- Knowledge of MS Word, Excel and EMR/Hospital Information Systems.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

- Ability to handle confidential patient information.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
