Role Description The Cafe Manager will oversee daily operations at a MITTI Café location in Bengaluru in a full-time, on-site capacity.

Responsibilities include managing staff schedules, supervising service quality, and ensuring a welcoming, inclusive environment for guests and team members. The role involves coordinating food and beverage preparation, maintaining hygiene and safety standards, and monitoring inventory, procurement, and vendor relationships.

The Cafe

Manager will also track sales performance, implement promotional activities,



and handle basic financial reporting such as daily sales reconciliation. The position requires working closely with adults with disabilities, supporting experiential training, and fostering a culture of respect, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills with a focus on empathy, patience, and guest satisfaction.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including clear verbal communication, active listening, and basic documentation abilities.
- Candidates should possess Food & Beverage and Food Service skills, including knowledge of café operations, hygiene standards, and safety practices.
- Candidates should possess Sales skills, including the ability to promote menu items, manage upselling, and support revenue growth.
- Experience in team leadership or supervision, preferably in hospitality, retail, or food service settings.
- Ability to work respectfully and inclusively with adults with diverse disabilities, with a commitment to accessibility and equal opportunity.
- Solid organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic proficiency in POS systems and simple financial record-keeping; familiarity with MS Office or similar tools is beneficial.
- Prior experience as a cafe manager, shift supervisor, or similar role is an advantage; formal education in hospitality
