Role. – CAE Crash Engineer- AM/Manager

Location - Pune

Qualification - B.Tech/ M Tech- Mechancial

Responsibilities

:

Virtual validation (FEA) of full vehicle and structural components for crashworthiness

Evaluate energy absorption, intrusion, and structural performance in Impact

Correlation of CAE results with physical crash test data

Competency Requirements

Technical / Functional

Exposure to CAE tools / techniques

Domain knowledge mainly Crash & Impact. Add-on durability / NVH is preferred

Robust understanding of material behavior

Knowledge of automotive structures (BIW, chassis, closures) and test methodology

Behavioral

Zeal for learning, Adaptability to change

Taking initiative and desire to transform concepts to reality

Effective communication with team, peers and seniors

Specific expertise required for functional area:

Experience with following softwares preferable:

Altair / Hyperworks, LS-DYNA, LS-PrePost, Radioss etc.
