Role Description The Business Development Manager is a full time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This role is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the marine and offshore HVAC-R sector, building and maintaining relationships with key clients, and expanding the company’s presence across Indian ports and offshore locations. Day-to-day activities include generating leads, preparing and presenting proposals, coordinating with technical and operations teams to develop tailored solutions, and managing end-to-end sales cycles.





The role also involves market research, competitor analysis, forecasting sales, and maintaining an accurate sales pipeline and CRM records.

The Business Development

Manager will collaborate with senior leadership to shape growth strategies, attend industry events, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through timely follow-ups and service coordination.

Qualifications

- Strong business development, B2B sales, and client relationship management skills in industrial or marine/offshore services.
- Experience in lead generation, proposal development, contract negotiation, and closing deals.
- Knowledge of HVAC-R systems, marine/offshore operations, or related technical services (engineering background is an advantage).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability in market research, opportunity assessment, and strategic planning for revenue growth.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or similar postgraduate qualification is a plus.
- Comfort with CRM tools, MS Office, and basic data analysis to track performance and prepare reports.
- Willingness to travel to ports, shipyards, and offshore locations as required, and a strong commitment to safety standards.
