Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager – CSR to drive business development, corporate partnerships, CSR projects, and strategic collaborations across India.

The ideal candidate should have experience in CSR business development, Skill Development projects, corporate relationship management, government liaisoning, proposal writing, and stakeholder management. The role will involve identifying new CSR opportunities, developing corporate partnerships, preparing proposals, and coordinating with government departments and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and develop new opportunities for CSR projects, grants, sponsorships, and strategic partnerships across India.
- Approach and build relationships with corporates, foundations, funding agencies, and institutional partners for CSR collaborations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, government bodies, Skill Development offices, and community stakeholders.
- Coordinate and maintain liaison with relevant government departments at regional and state levels.
- Prepare professional CSR proposals, concept notes, presentations, grant applications, budgets, and project documentation.
- Develop business plans for CSR initiatives aligned with corporate objectives and sustainability goals.
- Identify market opportunities related to CSR, ESG, sustainability, and Skill Development.
- Coordinate with internal teams to design and implement CSR programs based on client requirements.
- Monitor CSR project implementation, timelines, budgets, KPIs, and contractual commitments.
- Prepare project reports, impact assessment reports, compliance documents, and management updates.
- Support budget planning, financial projections, and commercial discussions for proposed CSR projects.
- Coordinate with HR, Marketing, IT, PR, Sustainability, and Legal teams for successful project execution.
- Develop case studies, newsletters, presentations,



and other communication materials to showcase project outcomes.
- Support corporate volunteering programs and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
- Track industry trends and identify potential corporate and institutional funding opportunities.
- Lead negotiations with prospective partners and convert business opportunities into successful CSR engagements.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in Business Development, CSR, Skill Development, Corporate Partnerships, or related areas.
- Strong experience in business development and corporate client relationship management.
- Experience working with Skill Development organizations/offices will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of CSR activities, regulations, ESG frameworks, and sustainability initiatives.
- Experience in government liaisoning and coordination with regional/state-level departments.
- Excellent proposal writing, presentation, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to develop business strategies and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical, planning, and project management abilities.
- Willingness to travel across India for business development, client meetings, and project requirements.
