Business Development Manager – B2B Partnerships & Private Markets

Transparent Capital | Andheri East, Mumbai

Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience

Employment type: Full Time

Salary: 3-7 LPA

Reporting to: Founder/ Director

Transparent Capital operates in unlisted shares, Pre-IPO investments, secondary transactions, and liquidity solutions. We connect existing shareholders and promoters with buyers through our sourcing, distribution, and execution capabilities. Our partners include wealth managers, wealth houses, stockbrokers, family offices, financial intermediaries, institutions, and PE/VC funds. We value strong relationships, commercial discipline, credibility, and honouring commitments.

We are looking for a commercially driven professional to build B2B partnerships and turn qualified demand into completed transactions and repeat business. You will own business development from the first conversation through closure, working closely with sourcing and operations to keep opportunities moving and partners informed.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Acquire and activate B2B partners, particularly wealth managers, stockbrokers, wealth houses, and family offices.
- Reach relevant decision-makers through calls, LinkedIn, referrals, meetings, and industry networks. Build relationships with people who influence or approve transactions.
- Understand each partner’s investment interests, preferred companies, ticket sizes, timelines, demand, and transaction requirements.
- Present relevant opportunities clearly and credibly, explaining available information, pricing, transaction terms, and relevant risks without overstating outcomes.
- Negotiate commercial terms within approved limits, address objections, secure confirmations, and drive opportunities towards closure.
- Coordinate share availability, pricing, documentation, and settlement with sourcing and operations. Set clear expectations and resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain an accurate CRM pipeline with qualified opportunities, decision-makers, next steps,

disciplined follow-ups, and realistic forecasts.
- Grow repeat business by staying close to partner requirements and expanding relationships across existing accounts.
- Identify potential sourcing relationships and shareholder liquidity opportunities, bringing relevant leads to the sourcing team.

You should bring:

- Ideally 4–8 years of relevant experience in B2B financial-services sales, wealth management, stockbroking, investment-product distribution, private markets, or institutional business development.
- Evidence of personally acquiring partners, activating accounts, and closing business. Be ready to explain your contribution and results.
- An established network of relevant partners and decision-makers is desirable, alongside the ability to build new relationships independently.
- Robust communication, listening, negotiation, and financial understanding, including the ability to discuss pricing, margins, and transaction mechanics.
- Consistent execution:organised follow-ups, sound commercial judgement, reliable CRM habits, and ownership through settlement. Familiarity with unlisted-share transactions is an advantage.

Success will be assessed through:

Active revenue-generating partners: Relationships that produce completed business.

Qualified pipeline: Opportunities with clear demand, decision-makers, indicative value, timelines, and agreed next steps.

Completed transactions: Deals carried through to settlement.

Repeat business: Returning partners and deeper account relationships.

Revenue contribution: The spread or margin earned between purchase and sale prices, rather than total transaction value.

Performance targets will be agreed for the role; transaction value and revenue will be tracked separately.

This role offers direct responsibility for building a partner network, influencing commercial outcomes, and improving how opportunities move from demand to execution. Your work will have a visible connection to business growth and the quality of our partner relationships.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
