Job Summary

The Business Development Intern will support referral generation, student engagement, lead follow-ups and admission conversion while maintaining accurate referral data and reports.

Key Responsibilities

~ Generate genuine student referrals through outbound calls and regular engagement.

~ Explain the referral program and handle student queries professionally.

~ Follow up with referral sources and referred students for lead nurturing and conversion.

~ Maintain referral lead data, calling records, trackers and follow-up status.

~ Use Advanced Excel for data management, reporting and performance tracking.

~ Coordinate with Counselling and Operations teams for smooth admission conversion.





~ Maintain professional communication and ensure accurate, complete referral entries.

~ Suggest practical ideas to improve referral generation, lead quality and conversion.

Required Skills & Competencies

~ Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

~ Strong convincing, negotiation and follow-up ability.

~ Valuable relationship-building and student handling skills.

~ Advanced Excel skills for data handling, formulas and reporting.

~ Analytical mindset, accuracy, ownership and willingness to learn
