Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to analyze legacy applications, business workflows, APIs, and operational processes and translate them into explicit business and functional requirements.

The role involves working with Product Owners, Engineering Teams, and SMEs on application modernization and API-led initiatives, including OpenAPI/Swagger analysis.

The candidate should have strong experience in requirements gathering, functional specifications, acceptance criteria, process flows, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements from stakeholders.
- Analyze legacy applications, business workflows, APIs, and operational processes to identify gaps and requirements.
- Work closely with Product Owners, Engineering Teams, SMEs, and Business stakeholders to clarify and validate requirements.
- Prepare functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and API documentation.
- Support application modernization and API-led initiatives, including OpenAPI/Swagger analysis.
- Conduct requirement discussions, workshops, and impact/gap analysis for complex business processes.
- Ensure requirements are clearly communicated to technical teams and aligned with business objectives.
- Maintain project documentation and support teams throughout the requirements-to-delivery lifecycle.

Required Skills & Experience





- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of Business Analyst experience, preferably in technical/enterprise applications.
- Strong experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis, workflows, and functional documentation.
- Hands-on experience with legacy applications, APIs, OpenAPI/Swagger, and application modernization.
- Experience preparing functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
- Strong stakeholder management experience with Product Owners, Engineering Teams, SMEs, and Business teams.
- Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, REST APIs, and UI flows is preferred.
- Excellent analytical, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

Skills That Are Nice to Have:

- Experience with legacy application modernization and migration projects.
- Knowledge of REST APIs, OpenAPI/Swagger, and system integrations.
- Experience in business process/workflow analysis and process improvement.
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Agile/Scrum.
- Experience working with Product Owners, Engineering Teams, and SMEs.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,400,000.00 per year
