Role & responsibilities

Job Summary The client is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to work closely with business stakeholders, design teams, and development teams to drive successful delivery of business solutions. The ideal candidate will have solid analytical skills, experience translating business needs into actionable requirements, and the ability to support data-driven decision-making.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements through stakeholder meetings, workshops, and interviews.
- Translate business requirements into well-defined user stories, functional specifications, and actionable tasks with clear acceptance criteria.
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, UX/design teams, and development teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and delivered.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, SCM, Finance, IT, etc) to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Coordinate and support testing efforts, including test case reviews and user acceptance testing (UAT), and validate deliverables against business requirements.




- Perform data analysis using SQL and create insightful reports and dashboards using tools such as Power BI to support business decisions.
- Identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities and propose effective solutions.
- Maintain clear documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Knowledge of Salesforce project management, including Salesforce processes, workflows, and stakeholder coordination.

Preferred candidate profile Required Skills & Qualifications

- Strong experience in business requirements gathering and documentation.
- Proficiency in writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Hands-on experience with SQL for data analysis.
- Experience creating dashboards and reports using Power BI or similar BI tools.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and fast-paced environments.

Experience

- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related role.

Education

- BE / BTech / MCA (or equivalent technical qualification).
