We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst with strong Manufacturing Execution System (MES) experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will bridge business requirements and technical solutions, drive process improvements, and support MES implementations across manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

Perform gap analysis between current (As-Is) and future-state (To-Be) business processes

Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements

Assist in defining project scope for new MES implementations and enhancement/add-on projects

Develop and maintain structured communication plans with clients and stakeholders

Identify system and process improvement opportunities and prioritize them based on project timelines and budget constraints

Communicate project feasibility, deliverables, timelines, risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans effectively

Prepare and maintain functional and/or technical specifications and documentation

Support end-user training, user manuals, SOPs, and operational documentation

Conduct internal training sessions for current product releases and feature enhancements

Assist users with MES system operations, issue resolution, and troubleshooting





Analyze current system limitations and recommend scalable solutions for future growth

Perform audits of customer equipment, manufacturing systems, and production lines

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, maintenance, IT, and engineering

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelors degree in engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Manufacturing, or related field

Proven experience as a Business Analyst in Manufacturing/MES environments

Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and industrial processes

Experience in requirement gathering, process mapping, and business process reengineering

Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Ability to create BRD, FRD, user stories, workflows, and process documentation

Experience with MES implementation/support projects

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities

Familiarity with ERP integrations and manufacturing shop-floor systems is an added advantage

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of ISA-95/ISA-88 standards

Experience with Agile or Waterfall project methodologies

Experience working with global manufacturing clients
