V Catapult, on behalf of their client, is looking for skilled BIM/MEP professionals to join a growing engineering team in Trichy. We have multiple openings across BIM Modeling and MEP BIM Modeling, for candidates with 1-5 years of relevant experience.

Openings

1. BIM Engineer / BIM Modeler
2. MEP Engineer / MEP BIM Modeler

Key Responsibilities - BIM Engineer / BIM Modeler:
- Develop and maintain detailed BIM models based on design drawings and project requirements
- Prepare 3D models, shop drawings, and construction documentation
- Work with Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and other BIM software
- Perform model coordination and identify clashes between disciplines
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, MEP engineers, and project teams
- Review drawings and models for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project standards
- Participate in BIM coordination meetings and resolve modeling issues
- Maintain BIM standards, templates, families, and project documentation
- Support project teams during design development and construction stages

Key Responsibilities - MEP Engineer / MEP BIM Modeler:
- Develop detailed MEP BIM models using Revit MEP
- Prepare and modify HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection layouts
- Create shop drawings and detailed construction drawings




- Perform clash detection and coordination using Navisworks
- Coordinate MEP services with architectural and structural models
- Review design drawings and specifications; identify conflicts and provide suitable solutions
- Prepare quantity take-offs and schedules when required
- Maintain proper documentation and revision control

Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of BIM/MEP concepts, workflows, and construction practices
- Proficiency in Revit / Revit MEP, Navisworks, and AutoCAD
- Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems, and/or construction drawings and detailing
- Good understanding of architectural/structural/MEP coordination and clash detection
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Valuable communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering discipline
- Relevant BIM/MEP certification is an added advantage
- Experience working on international projects is preferred
