Position: Bench Sales Recruiter

Experience: 3+ Years in IT Bench Sales / Contract Staffing / India Staffing

Location: India

Drive end-to-end bench sales activities by identifying suitable contract opportunities and placing India-based IT consultants across client projects and contract engagements.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with System Integrators (SIs), staffing partners, implementation partners, hiring managers, and direct clients to generate consistent project opportunities.
- Manage and market consultant profiles strategically, understanding technical expertise, availability, location, experience, and project suitability to maximize placement opportunities.
- Demonstrate robust market knowledge across Data Engineering, Salesforce, Cybersecurity IAM, and AI, with the ability to understand skill requirements and position consultants effectively.
- Develop and maintain an active client and partner network, proactively identifying open requirements, upcoming projects, RFPs, subcontracting opportunities, and contract staffing needs.
- Negotiate effectively on rates, terms, contract duration, and consultant placement,



balancing consultant expectations with client and partner requirements to achieve profitable engagements.
- Coordinate closely with recruiters, consultants, account managers, and delivery teams to ensure accurate profile submissions, interview scheduling, feedback management, onboarding, and project closure.
- Maintain an organized bench pipeline and sales tracker, providing regular visibility into consultant availability, submissions, interviews, offers, placements, rates, and revenue opportunities.
- Possess exceptional communication, negotiation, follow-up, and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to engage hiring managers, SI leadership, procurement teams, and technology decision-makers.
- Operate with a strong ownership and revenue-driven mindset, continuously expanding the customer/partner network, increasing consultant placements, improving bench utilization, and contributing directly to the growth of the IT contract staffing business.
