About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer to join our fully remote team at Textellent, Inc. This role is pivotal in driving our technological advancements, particularly through AI-driven development practices. As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for building scalable, high-performance backend systems that support our SMS marketing automation platform.

You will design and optimize APIs, manage cloud infrastructure, and leverage AI tools to automate and enhance our development workflows. Qualifications To be successful in this role, candidates should possess a minimum of 4 to 7 years of experience in backend development, with a strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, SQL, and AWS services. Familiarity with AI-based development tools is highly desirable, along with an interest in leveraging AI to improve coding, testing, and deployment processes. Candidates should have prior experience working remotely and demonstrate excellent communication and collaboration skills.

A solid understanding of cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and database optimization is essential. Candidates who are proactive, problem-solvers, and eager to learn new technologies will thrive in our innovative environment.

Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include developing and maintaining robust backend functionalities using Java and Spring Boot, ensuring the scalability and performance of our platform. You will design, implement, and optimize database schemas with SQL to support various features and integrations. Managing cloud infrastructure on AWS—including EC2, S3, RDS, SNS, and SQS—will be a core part of your role, ensuring reliable deployment and operation of applications.

You will also establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines utilizing tools such as GitHub and Jenkins to streamline development workflows. Additionally,



you will incorporate AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, and Lovable to accelerate coding, testing, and deployment cycles. Collaborating with remote cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, you will contribute to building impactful features that enhance our platform’s capabilities and user experience.
